The Pursuit of Happiness

The fresh dew rests upon the pretty leaves,

The sun is shining,

Flowers add color to a world of gloom,

A new day has come.

But why is it not enough?

The pursuit of happiness,

Is like an endless journey,

A trap to forget the present,

In expecting some epiphany.

To live for the moment,

To forget the past and move on,

To love and dream again,

To hope and trust,

Is just so hard to do.
